Our Story
A few miles from Johnson Space Center
SpaceCity3D is a family business — a husband and wife team printing articulated dragons, animal figurines, and minis just a few miles from Johnson Space Center in Deer Park, Texas. Down here, space isn’t a theme we picked out of a catalog. It’s the neighborhood.
How it grew
We’ve been printing for two and a half years. What started with kits grew into something bigger — shelves of dragons, herds of tiny animals, and a family that kept saying “what if we made…” until the printers were running more than they were resting.
Quality control
We’re parents of three — two daughters and a son — and grandparents of six: four granddaughters and two grandsons. That crew is our toughest quality control. If a figure isn’t fun to hold, pose, and fight over, it doesn’t make the store.
How it is made
Every figure is printed here in Deer Park on our own machines, in the colors you see — or in the colors you pick, with our filament picker. Today we’re growing into online sales, and one day we hope to open a storefront where you can walk in and meet the whole zoo in person.
