Terms and Conditions

The plain-English rules for buying from SpaceCity3D. We have tried to write these the way we would explain them across a market stall.

Who you are buying from

SpaceCity3D, a family-run 3D printing workshop in Deer Park, Texas. We design, print, check and pack everything ourselves. There is no warehouse and no drop-shipper.

Ordering

  • Your order is accepted when we email you a confirmation, not at the moment you press pay.
  • Prices are in US dollars. Texas sales tax is added at checkout for Texas addresses, including on the postage.
  • If we cannot fulfil an order — a printer goes down, a color runs out, something is mispriced — we will tell you and refund you in full.
  • Everything is printed to order, so please read the note below about how prints vary.

How our toys are made, and what that means

Each item is printed on our own machines, layer by layer, then hand-checked. That means slight variation in color between batches, visible layer lines, and joints that may need a gentle first flex. That is the nature of the thing, not a defect. Our Refunds and Returns page spells out where normal variation ends and a fault begins.

Safety — please read this one

Choking hazard: small parts. Our Minis and Micros are deliberately tiny, and the larger articulated toys have small moving pieces that can break off if a toy is stood on, chewed or forced.

These are not toys for babies or toddlers. We recommend them for ages 3 and up, with an adult keeping an eye on the smallest pieces.

These are decorative and play items. They are not safety equipment, not food-safe, and not made to take weight or heat. PLA plastic softens in a hot car.

The designs

We print from designs licensed for sale from independent 3D designers, and each product page credits the designer who drew it. You are buying the printed object. No rights to the underlying digital file transfer with it, and we do not sell the files.

What we sell

Physical, printed objects, posted to you. We do not sell downloads, digital files, software, gift cards or subscriptions of any kind.

Where we can be held responsible

We stand behind what we make: if it arrives faulty or not as described, we fix it. What we cannot be responsible for is a toy being misused, given to a child too young for it, modified, or left somewhere hot. Nothing here removes rights the law gives you as a consumer.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you order is the one that applies to your order.
